Partisan Tyranny and the Georgia Voting Law

The new Georgia Voting Law has drawn condemnation for its racism. But there are parts of the law that are of greater danger to American democracy.
Georgia Republicans, controlling the Governorship and the Legislature, have moved to impose complete political control of the electoral process. They have removed the Secretary of State, elected statewide, as Chair of the state election board and will place a political appointee in as Chair of the board with only one Democrat out of five members.
The Board will control the voting process, and also have the power to seize the voting systems of up to four counties. These will be Democratic-leaning counties.
The Republicans, aided by gerrymandering, have the whip hand in Georgia politics and will further increase their power through this electoral process manipulation.
If other States follow suit, the U.S. will have partisan tyranny in a majority of states.
Predictions are that within 20 years, 70% of the American people will live in 15 states. This means that 70 Senate seats will be controlled by States having only 30% of the population.
These 70 Senators will be loyal to the Republican Party, and not the Constitution.
American citizens and businesses must unite against any such voting laws.
