Who is the Constitutional Hero?
Edward Snowden has revealed that the U.S. government, through the NSA, has been spying on us and violating our rights, particularly those found in the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.
For his actions, Snowden has been vilified and threatened, and may be prosecuted.
Richard Cheney, Karl Rove, and I. Lewis Libby ‘outed’ a CIA operative and thus harmed our national security. They were not prosecuted for this because they were in politics.
Snowden took his actions because he believed that he must protect our constitutional freedoms. Cheney, Rove and Libby took their actions for the basest of political motives.
Who should be prosecuted? Who should be hailed as a hero?
