Aggression Against Iran

Hidden agendas, ignorance of the Middle East, and jingoism led to the Iraq War.  That military misadventure cost us 4500 American servicemen dead and costs surpassing
$1 trillion.
Now we have the same misguided motives driving us to aggressively confront Iran, even if it creates armed conflict.
How many of those promoting this aggression have a family member serving the Armed Forces?  A family member that will be endangered by the unintended consequences of their beliefs?

Who are the 30-40 fanatics in the Congress?

There have been a number of reports that the shutdown of the federal government is caused by 30-40 Tea Party Republicans in the House who have the rest of the Republicans scared and afraid to end the stalemate.

Men Should Go Through What Women Do

Fundamentalist elements in our society are trying to force females to undergo tests and procedures because the females are exercising their rights involving their reproductive systems.
It is only right that the equivalent procedures and processes be visited upon those who are causing these reproductive issues.
Every father and father-to-be should undergo probes, tests, and special diets for nine months.
They should also experience (induced) morning sickness and bloating, badly fitting clothes, inane comments from people they don’t know, and disruption of their lives.  At the same time, they would have to try to continue their normal routine, including work, for eight or nine months.
This will lead to a greater appreciation of what women go through.

Who is the Constitutional Hero?

Edward Snowden has revealed that the U.S. government, through the NSA, has been spying on us and violating our rights, particularly those found in the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution. For his actions, Snowden has been vilified and threatened, and may be prosecuted. Richard Cheney, Karl Rove, and I. Lewis Libby ‘outed’ a CIA operative and thus harmed our national security. They were not prosecuted for this because they were in politics. Snowden took his actions because he believed that he must protect our constitutional freedoms. Cheney, Rove and Libby took their actions for the basest of political motives. Who should be prosecuted? Who should be hailed as a hero?
